The women’s team will have preseason conditioning starting the second week of January (Jan. 7th). ALL participants must have a cleared physical before participating in workouts and tryouts. Preseason conditioning is highly encouraged.
PRESEASON FITNESS SESSION DATES: January 7, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 21, and 22.
Session Location: Meet at the Stadium
Session Time: 3:45 PM – 4:30 PM
What to bring: Running shoes, water bottle, layers
PRESEASON FITNESS TEST: Thursday, January 23rd from 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM, the women will have a fitness test that will include a timed mile and sprints
TRYOUT SCHEDULE is as follows:
Athletes should have appropriate soccer gear: shorts, socks, shin guards. Dress appropriately for the weather. Hoodies may be worn but hoods must be down during training. IF you have a conflict with tryouts you should contact Coach Page in room 215. We are willing to work with athletes, however, we have limited time/space that offers little flexibility. It is important to be at ALL sessions.
Monday, 1/27: 5:15 AM – 7:30 AM – All new players and returning JV. Report at 5am to get signed in.
Tuesday, 1/28: 3:45 PM – 5:15 PM – All Players (1st round of cuts will be made)
Wednesday, 1/29: 5:15 PM – 6:30 PM – All Players (2nd round of cuts)
Thursday, 1/30: 5:15 PM – 6:30 PM – All Players (final roster most likely)
Friday, 1/31: 3:45 PM – 6:00 PM – All Players. This will likely be first day of training AND make-up tryout for athletes that missed tryouts due to excused absences (illness, family emergency).
