As many of you already know, Maddie Wellstead’s mother, Fran, passed away last Friday after a long and very brave 15 year battle with brain cancer.  She had beaten the odds in the beginning after the doctor’s told her she would only live another couple of years upon her original diagnosis. Her dedication to her diet, immense love for God and her family and friends along with her positive outlook on life kept her alive well past that.  She is survived by her husband, Mike, and her two children, Maddie and Coleman both of which attend Walton High School.   Maddie is a Senior Girls Varsity Soccer player.  Let’s keep the Wellstead family in our thoughts and prayers.
